The opening reception for the new travelling exhibition of the Remembrance of Auschwitz “Belgium, 1914-1945: Witnesses in the Eye of the Storm” will take place on Thursday, September 5 at 6 PM at the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces
On the eve of the commemoration of the two World Wars, the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces hosts from September 6 to December 15, 2013 one of the exhibitions of the Remembrance of Auschwitz: Belgium, 1914-1945: Witnesses in the Eye of the Storm. The exhibition treats the major events of this turbulent period and links them to testimonies of the deportees which bring us closer to the victims of these deadly conflicts.
History and memory light up, respond to and complement each other.
