The Auschwitz Foundation organized this conference to mark the fortieth anniversary of the Nuremberg Trial, in collaboration with the International Law Center of Brussels Free University (ULB), the Center for International Criminal Law of Brussels Free University (VUB), the Association of Former Political Prisoners of Auschwitz-Birkenau and Silesian Camps and Prisons and the International Federation of Resistance Fighters.

Contributors included Nuremberg Trial witnesses, lawyers and university professors, including many experts in international law.
