29/03/1990: “The Far Right in Western Europe”
The Auschwitz Foundation organized this international conference in collaboration with the Antwerp City Center for Peace, under the patronage of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), Ghent University, the University Center Sint-Ignatius Antwerp, the Catholic University of Leuven (KUL) and the University of Antwerp.
Over 30 contributors took part in this event, including many historians, sociologists, political analysts, journalists and philosophers from Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.
Three working groups respectively examined the sociology, ideology and psychological-political aspects of the far right.
