The new travelling exhibition of the Remembrance of Auschwitz, titled “Belgium, 1914-1945: Witnesses in the Eye of the Storm”, can still be visited at the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces until Sunday, December 15th included.
On the eve of the commemoration of the First and Second World War, the Royal Museum of the Armed Forces welcomes one of the Remembrance of Auschwitz exhibitions from September 6th to December 15th, namely Belgium, 1914-1945: Witnesses in the Eye of the Storm. The exhibition runs through the great events of this turbulent period and links them to testimonies of deportees, allowing us to feel connected to the victims of the bloody conflicts.
Or how history and memory are complementary, presenting and explaining.
